Class today consisted of churning out a feature. I must say that writing is like magic sometimes – sometimes it just happens regardless of a lack of a thought process. I merely sat down to write it at 8 a.m. and by 9 a.m. the majority of it was staring at me on the screen. Now I’m not saying it was a good article, but it was in existence when I didn’t have any idea what I was going to write. It was like a miracle.
Ryan and my shooting adventure was much more fun. Ryan happens to be the pimp daddy of using flash, so he taught me some tricks of the trade and we managed to take a few rocking cool photos.
The rest of my evening consisted of chitchatting with a dorm neighbor, talking on the phone about car insurance, then watching Marie Antoinette, a beautiful, if slow, movie. I broke my rule and bought it even though I hadn’t seen it. The movie is cinematically gorgeous (I love Sofia for that) and pretty interesting, so it was five bucks not badly spent. Now I’ll gather together all my will power to avoid snacking before I go to bed, since I am on a supposed diet.
